Light travels at about 300,000,000 meters per second. However, keeping the shutter open for about at least 20 seconds would allow us to capture the light source as it makes its way through, thus leaving behind a light trail set against a contrasting dark background.
I’ve always been amazed at how these kinds of shots are made. So here it is, my first attempt in creating one myself. Compliments to Darius of ShotnRoll for lending me his tripod.
